Reader’s Question:

I saw some hybrid cars here in Dallas, Texas and I am taking chances of buying one. I just wanna know, is there a Honda make that runs on water?

Dallas, TX

The Honda FCX Clarity is a vehicle that emits water vapor making it the newest breed for green car. This car may have some similarities with a hybrid vehicle, but it holds greater with its fuel source hydrogen. It’s a guiltless drive around Dallas, Texas. It was already designated as the Zero Emission Vehicle because it emits water vapor. It was given the lowest possible emission rating by the Environmental Protection Testing or EPA. It runs on hydrogen and can run to up about 280 miles before it can be refuelled. This car also achieves energy efficiency by 55 percent, about twice the energy efficiency of a hybrid vehicle and thrice efficiency as of that regular gas vehicle. Unlike regular hybrids, this car does not need to be charged up or does not need regular gas.

Since this vehicle feeds on hydrogen, its manufacturer is already designing a home refuelling station that could cater its increasing demand in the market. Now you don’t have to worry about the stressful hunt for refuelling pumps. The FCX Clarity has just been recently released by Honda and ready to conquer the global market. One suggestion though, should you get lucky to have this car, it would be best to have it insured. If you’re curious enough, you can check out the free quotations on this website.
