Reader’s Question:

I just saw a 2009 Ridgeline parked at my neighbor’s garage here in Texas. From the outside, it looked “WOW.” Care to share what else is in that truck?

Hey, hey, hey, Tony! Yes, the 2009 Ridgeline does look handsome on the outside. The tough-looking exterior gives you a hint that what’s under the hood is a monster hauler. Well, it is. I do suggest you try to schedule a road test or a test drive, so you can get to experience the vehicle. I bet a local Honda dealer in Texas can offer that to you.

Since you already know much about the exteriors and the styling of the Ridgeline, let’s talk about how this baby can move. Okay, first, how much load can it carry? In trunk or bed, it can carry about 1,500 lbs., which is true for all three trims (the RT, RTS & RTL). However, with proper towing equipment attached, the Ridgeline can haul up to 5,000 lbs. The Ridgeline can carry this much load with its 3.5 Liter 24-valve SOHC VTEC engine that generates almost 2,500 lb-ft of torque and 250 horsepower. It also doesn’t scrimp on space as it can comfortably seat 5 inside the cab. And for those concerned about safety, it even incorporates 3 side-curtain airbags to provide more-than-adequate protection even if the car tumbles. I guess those are the main features that I would check out if I decide to buy this vehicle.

Reader’s Question:

I would like to buy a Dallas Honda Truck 2008 Ridgeline. Any reviews? – Mark

Dallas, TX

Thank you for your question Mac. Jagged really meets smooth in the Dallas Honda truck, the 2008 Ridgeline. I purchased one of these just a few months ago, and I have been incessantly astonished given that then by the means that the Ridgeline runs itself very in the same way to cars I have possessed previously, and up till now in addition has much of the control and robustness which ought to come with a truck. This is my primary instance to purchase a Dallas Honda truck, and I imagine it is a magnificent changeover vehicle for initial moment truck owners, even though additional and more knowledgeable drivers inform me they have driven a thousand trucks and still take pleasure in the Ridgeline.

It has been established that it is not that ideal-you may possibly go off road in it, but I would not advise that you get it, as it is not very competent. On the other hand, that does not denote the Dallas Honda truck Ridgeline cannot withstand the outdoors, because it has a great deal about it which creates it practical and ideal and secure for taking lengthy trips, throughout the state or to go fishing or everywhere else.

Rough does meet smooth in the Dallas Honda truck, the 2008 Ridgeline. I bought one of these recently, and have been continuously surprised since then by the way that the Ridgeline handles itself very similarly to cars I’ve had before, and yet also has much of the power and toughness which should come with a truck. This is my first time to buy a Dallas Honda truck, and I think it’s a wonderful transition vehicle for first time truck owners, although other more experienced drivers tell me they’ve driven a thousand trucks and still enjoy the Ridgeline.

Granted, it’s not perfect–you could go off road in it, but I wouldn’t recommend it, as it’s not very capable. However, that doesn’t mean the Dallas Honda truck Ridgeline can’t weather the outdoors, as it has so much about it which makes it useful and perfect and safe for taking long trips, through the country or to go fishing or anywhere else.
