Honda Accord 2009 Dallas Texas
Reader’s Question:
I’m looking at a new 2009 Honda Accord to use for myself in good old Texas. I’ll be turning over my old car to my wife who also needs a car. Can someone offer me some advice?
Matthew
Dallas, TX
Good day to you, Matthew! Gospel-truth, the Accord has always been on the strong side of Honda. Ever since the Accord models came out in the 1980s, it always got positive reviews from both critics and consumers alike. Honda’s tradition of marrying technology and design lives on in the 2009 Accord. What kind of Accord should you take home with you? Any one of the different trims should do well but what struck my heart as a winner is the EX-L.
How is the EX-L different? Well, since you said that you’d be driving this one for yourself, I thought that I’d recommend something that isn’t on the top of the price list but takes your comfort into mind. The EX-L comes with leather-trimmed seating, leather covered steering wheel and a leather covered shift knob (for the MT), just some things that you might appreciate. I don’t think you’d be disappointed as well with the response of its 2.4 Liter i-VTEC engine. The 190 horsepower will always be there to back you up whenever you need it. For your driving convenience, the 2009 Honda Accord EX-L comes with the Honda Satellite-linked navigation system with Voice recognition. You got the style and the power, with great directions to get you in and out of Texas.
Honda 2009 Element Dallas Texas
Reader’s Question:
What are the good points on the Honda Element? I honestly think that it’s quite a uniquely shaped vehicle. Would this vehicle be a great add to the roads of Texas?
Peter
Dallas, TX
Hey there, Peter! Of course, another odd-shaped car would not be a bad add on the streets of Texas. But let’s not bring a good thing down by harping on shape alone. The 2009 Honda Element has what it takes to back up its claim to being fun-inspired SUV. After reading up on how consumers reacted towards the Element, I’m even more convinced that Honda stumbled onto something with this unique design. Traditionally, I always saw an SUV as just a giant car that uses a truck chassis. But with how Honda approached the Element’s design, I think it hits something for the adventurous, fun-seeking market.
First thing that grabs you with the Honda Element is its size, it is not longer than most SUVs, it’s taller. Then further checking out the exterior, you see a unique clamshell rear door. Moving up to the side, even how the side doors open up is different from most cars. Taking these exterior aspects into consideration, one is led to believe that this car is built to carry personal gear like bikes, musical equipment, heck, even small furniture. Looking under the hood, does it have the heart of an SUV? If you’re into the usual “where’s the V6?” type of person, then you might be disappointed. You will find a 2.4 Liter i-VTEC engine under the hood that can give you a fair amount of horses, about 166 of them. For me, as a personal SUV/ hauler, I think that should be enough for you to play around with. Match that with the Real-Time 4WD which is common Honda technology and you get a fun SUV. I think it’s worth your time to drive this vehicle around Dallas.
2009 Honda Ridgeline Dallas Texas
Reader’s Question:
I just saw a 2009 Ridgeline parked at my neighbor’s garage here in Texas. From the outside, it looked “WOW.” Care to share what else is in that truck?
Tony
Dallas, TX
Hey, hey, hey, Tony! Yes, the 2009 Ridgeline does look handsome on the outside. The tough-looking exterior gives you a hint that what’s under the hood is a monster hauler. Well, it is. I do suggest you try to schedule a road test or a test drive, so you can get to experience the vehicle. I bet a local Honda dealer in Texas can offer that to you.
Since you already know much about the exteriors and the styling of the Ridgeline, let’s talk about how this baby can move. Okay, first, how much load can it carry? In trunk or bed, it can carry about 1,500 lbs., which is true for all three trims (the RT, RTS & RTL). However, with proper towing equipment attached, the Ridgeline can haul up to 5,000 lbs. The Ridgeline can carry this much load with its 3.5 Liter 24-valve SOHC VTEC engine that generates almost 2,500 lb-ft of torque and 250 horsepower. It also doesn’t scrimp on space as it can comfortably seat 5 inside the cab. And for those concerned about safety, it even incorporates 3 side-curtain airbags to provide more-than-adequate protection even if the car tumbles. I guess those are the main features that I would check out if I decide to buy this vehicle.
2009 Honda Fit Sport 5AT Dallas Texas
Reader’s Question:
Though I like to satisfy my son’s desire to have a car here in Dallas, Texas, as much as possible I want to make sure that the Honda Civic HFP Concept that my brother recommended to me suits my son preferences. Could you let me know some features of the Honda Civic HFP Concept?
Daniel
Dallas, TX
I am sure your brother has very good reasons why he recommended to you the new Honda Civic HFP Concept for your son there in Dallas, Texas. And I think I share them with him because from the launching of the Honda Civic HFP Concept in the SEMA show in Las Vegas, Honda began to revolutionize automobiles again by debuting with this state-of-the-art model.
Honda Civic HFP Concept features a series of aero-tweaks including body kit with front fascia and ground effects, which transforms this Honda Civic into a driver-friendly car granting efficient four-wheel drive. Interestingly, you can even trace the roots of Honda Civic HFP Concept from stock concepts of Civic Si sedan.
Critics also commented the Civic HFP Concept’s new alloy wheels, which is considerably lighter than previous car’s alloy wheels and also has the hybrid-like aero covers. Civic HFP Concept has lower suspension to entirely draw the car nearer to the ground, which undeniably makes this car efficient in terms of performance and fuel consumption. The technology of lowering the suspension came from the Super Taikyu Series, a Japanese racing event where a Civic Type R. Honda proved that such modification had helped a lot.
Overview For The 2009 Honda Fit Dallas Texas
Reader’s Question:
I am looking forward to grab the latest Edition of Honda Fit here in Dallas, Texas. Can you give me a quick rundown of its updates as compared to the older version?
Rob
Dallas, TX
I was able to do a test drive for the 2009 version of the Honda Fit and I used to drive one of the Honda Fit older versions as well. I just had this test drive for the 2009 model just about a month ago in the outskirts of Dallas, Texas. I noticed that the 2009 Honda Fit’s wheelbase is two inches longer than the preceding model. Its engine was also upgraded into a 1.5-liter VTEC four cylinder engine. One impressive achievement for the 2009 version is that with its features, it is expected to provide better fuel economy. Another major improvement for the Honda Fit is having better and flexible cargo carrying capacity. The tail gates are large, providing easy access to the luggage area. The rear Magic Seat has been improved so it can be folded flat in one movement. Although the Fit is a small car, it offers a full complement of safety features including full curtain side airbags, ABS and electronic brake distribution system.
Since this model would still be out on sale this summer, I suggest you visit your local Honda Dealer today to do a reservation as this model is expected to sell like hot pancakes. I also recommend that you also start hunting for a perfect insurance coverage should you own this car and the perfect place to look for one is through this website.
Dallas Texas Honda CRV 2005
Reader’s Question:
I have a 2005 Honda CRV here in Dallas, Texas and it’s quite aging. What accessories would you recommended for this vehicle?
Pete
Dallas, TX
Speaking of this staunch 2005 Honda CRV model, since it was manufactured with stylish design, I suggest that you have to keep its cylindrical headlights, front grill and aero- dynamic bumper in good shape. If it has already been driven for quite a while, maintaining the exterior can still preserve the way it looked two or three years ago. You can install a new side sill and side protector to adorn its sides. Make the rear part enhanced with a combination light and rear bumper.
Getting a redesigned lamps, headlight and front bumpers, side sills and grilles and an alloy EX wheel can make your car much more like the latest models. If your car runs on an hydraulic pump type system, you can consider changing it into a Real Time 4WD mechanism, a new Special Edition trim level that includes heated leather steering wheel cover, seat and door mirrors. Try having the bumpers body colored bumpers, spare tire covers, door handles and side molding. You can drive around Dallas, Texas to check Honda spare parts dealers for cheap accessories to save a lot of money. After all of that redesigning, your CRV is now ready to hit the road with all the elegance. Above these all, one important car accessory may be reliable car insurance. 2006 Honda Civic Si Dallas Texas
Reader’s Question:
I think that the 2006 Honda Civic is still the most in demand Honda car that is widely available here in Dallas, Texas. Can the 2006 Civic Si be comparable with latest release?
Elvis
Dallas, TX
This car is designed to be an advanced personal compact, incorporating flowing bodywork, wide stance suggesting stable forward motion and its windshield are angled. This could have been the most powerful and fastest Civic from Honda’s 20 year history. Most of its line up includes the 4-door Sedan, 2-door Coupe and the Si Coupe, the natural gas Civic GX and the ever efficient in terms of fuel consumption, the Civic Hybrid.
The Civic Sic was built on heritage performance of 200 hp, with a 16 valve DOHC i-VTEC engine. This six speed transmission gives manual control to shift points up to the red line of the engine with 800rpm enhancing cornering and traction ability. Aside from the powerful and efficient engine, it runs on an 18 inch cast aluminum wheels and cross drilled brake rotors.
As compared with 2007 and 2008 models, still I feel that the 2006 Civic Si has its own unique feature, still easy and fun to drive and mostly available in Dallas, Texas. It sets a new styling package and class leading values, giving Honda the prestige in designing and engineering such model. Such reliable car needs a reliable insurance. 2008 Honda Mugen Civic Dallas Texas
Reader’s Question:
My boyfriend is a Honda fanatic who got so excited about the new Honda car and sold out his CRV for the Mugen Civic here in Dallas, Texas. Is it possible to request a preview on this car?
Clarisse
Dallas, TX
Mugen is a Japanese word which means NO LIMITS. This is what best describes the latest addition to the Honda line up. It is a 4-door car and initially comes in Fiji Blue Pearl Color. It is a limited edition so tell your boyfriend to gear up because there would only be 1000 lucky customers that would be able to drive this with heads up. Because of the limited version and production, this car comes expensive. Most car dealers in Dallas, Texas sell it not lower than $30,000 a piece. This may probably as I speak the best car for Honda lovers who are willing to spend that much for this sporty and elegantly looking sedan.
The exterior of this sedan is more of like the M3. It is enveloped with an aero body kit which is integrated side skirts with matte black front spoilers. It gives an athletic style yet maintaining the beauty and elegance of the Civic Sedan. Do not worry about it being confused with a Civic though because the Mugen Si badge is displayed on the front grille, rear deck and spoiler.
Having Mugen car is every enthusiast’s desire. With an expensive car, I also suggest that you get it insured with the right company. You can click the link on this site for an insurance that can cover this wonderful car. Check on the quotations as you read along this article.
Dallas Texas 2008 Honda S2000
Reader’s Question:
I want to ask about a used Honda S2000. Is it any good and how much?
Keith
Dallas, TX
I have been driving unsightly small cars for quite some time, so at the present that I have my primary real occupation out of college, I wanted to indulge myself to a Dallas Honda car I really liked. I ended up choosing the 2008 S2000, which is a smooth small convertible which appeared, just like I picture a car should appear. It has nothing of the knotted features of a lot of contemporary convertibles, and has an outer shell which is both well-built and striking.
So how is the 2008 S2000 car? It is really enjoyable. It has got a chassis which is very quick, but I got the majority boot out of the engine, the revolution is so crazy and it produces the noise you like everyone else to pay attention to. It is attractive and does not have a lot of holding it back, and as well to that it packs a lot of performance excellence into only thirty thousand dollars.
2008 Honda Odyssey Dallas dealer
Reader’s Question:
My dad recently purchased a 2008 Honda Odyssey. I am quite impressed with the features, but tell me, how would you describe its tire endurance?
Patrick
Dallas, TX
Honda Odyssey runs on a Michelin’s PAX run tire system. Michelin’s PAX run-flat tire system is offered on the Touring model and it is a truly worthwhile attribute. The Michelin PAX system is far better than the traditional run-flat tires because there is no compelling ride-quality penalty. Run-flat tires have in the past relied on stiff sidewalls to support the car when the air is lost, which usually results in a rough ride. We hardly noticed any difference in ride or handling between Odysseys endowed with PAX and those with standard tires. Michelin’s PAX system uses a solid plastic ring that wraps around the center of the wheel like a rubber band. When reduced or deflated, the tire pushes against it and uses it for support.
In a presentation while driving with a flat tire, we noticed degenerated handling, but the vehicle was still certainly controllable in a safe manner. Honda states that this vehicle can be driven up to 50 mph for 125 miles with its tires flat. The wheels and tires has a special size and require specialized equipment to change, But Michelin says it has a set mounted within 12 hours within 125 miles of almost anywhere in the U.S. From a practical viewpoint, that should work fine because you still can drive on the flat until the new tire comes in. You will not be able to buy just any tire when you want to replace these due to the special wheels, but Michelin makes great tires and its older tires are readily obtainable so this should not be concern after all. Stopping for a flat tire in the busy streets of Dallas, can put family members at risk to other vehicles or to criminals while standing helpless on the side of the road, so we see run-flat tires as a safety feature.
